Story from a bankrupt employee to a boss The Bata family, who lived in Jlin, a small town in the European country of Czechoslovakia, had lived and built shoes for generations. Years passed in the midst of conflict. The fate of this family was reversed in 1894 when son Tomas had big dreams. He made his sister Anna and brother Antonin his allies to make the family industry professional. With great difficulty, the siblings persuaded the mother and received $ 320 from them. After this, he rented two rooms in the village and took two sewing machines on loan, bought raw materials and started business by taking out loans. Learned work by working as a worker in a shoe company Against Tomas G. Bata, despair did not allow herself to be dominated after she left her siblings’ business and in just 6 years the work was put in such a situation that the shop was now starting to shrink. Tomas had to take out a huge loan to grow the business. There also came a period when he went bankrupt for failing to repay the debt on time. In such a situation, Tomas and his three employees learned to work for six months as laborers in a shoe company in New England. During this time he kept a close eye on the functioning of many companies and returned home after understanding their functioning. Here he started to work in a new way. In 1912 Tomas employed 600 workers and employed hundreds at home. Set up exclusive stores in Bata, planning to sell together with production.
